dollar fifty a day

Beira, Mozambique. I ponder this photo. I sit and wonder and try to make up a story, but I'll never know. I try to think of hope. But in reality, this child had Malaria and the family couldn't afford treatment. My friend pulled some metacash out of pocket. She couldn't bare thinking this child could die when she had enough change to spare. But is that enough?
